Archival Research

Contextually to the entrustment of the assignments for the executive project drafting, archival research has been launched on the principal Italian and Austrian conservation institutes (Ufficio Storico dello Stato Maggiore dell'Esercito-Roma, Istituto Storico e di Cultura dell'Arma del Genio-Roma, Commissariato Onoranze ai Caduti di Guerra-Roma, Museo dei Granatieri di Sardegna-Roma, Museo Centrale del Risorgimento-Roma, Museo del Risorgimento e della Resistenza-Vicenza, Kriegsarchiv-Vienna, Bildarchiv Ost. Nationalbibliothek-Vienna, Innsbruck Kaiserjager Bund) (Historical Office of the Army General-Rome, Historical and Cultural Institute of the Engineering Corps-Rome, Commissioner Honor for the Fallen of the War-Rome, Museum of the Grenadiers of Sardinia-Rome, Central Museum of Risorgimento-Rome, Museum of the Risorgimento and Resistance-Vicenza, Kriegsarchiv-Vienna, Bildarchiv Ost. Nationalbibliothek-Vienna, Innsbruck Kaiserjager Bund) in order to recuperate the documentary material related to the Vicentine front (pictures, plans, war reports...):
This research has lead to the recovery of a precious quantity of information useful for the various project definitions as well as for the processing of the tables displaced along the pathways.
