Monte Cengio

"The vertigo of War"

Card
The monumental area of Cengio and the fortified system of Mount Paù, still contain one of the most interesting and suggestive itinerary of the wartime operations that took place in the mountains. The system of tunnels and fortified muleteers, immersed in a scenically exhilarating landscape, form an overall historical environment which had a decisive role in the entire mountainous span stretching from Adige to Brenta.

    Monte Cengio

  • Fortified pathways, cave trenches and positions of the bottom valley of Canaglia
