Forte Interrotto

"The highland forts"

Card
The reinforcement and development project of the ex defensive barracks of Mount Interrotto (improperly indicated with the name of fort Interrotto) is one of the most important planned interventions, built before the First World Conflict, it was directly involved in the military actions and heavily damaged.

Built in the second half of the 800s, entirely in stone on the mountain that overlooks the dwelling of Camporovere, fort Interrotto undoubtedly represents an exceptional "case" and worthy, therefore, of the utmost regard also in consideration of the precarious conditions which is in.

As already presumed by the project of reinforcement and restoration drafted by the Municipality of Asiago, such structure could become the access "door" to the "The Great War Open Air Museum" of the Highland and site of the Centro Studi e Documentazione sulla Grande Guerra di Asiago (Documentation and Research Center of Asiago on the Great War).
