From Recoaro: take the provincial road that climbs up along the steep hydrographical left side slope of the Agno valley and after passing the built-up area of Merendaore you will reach, after a few hairpin bends, the Guardia area from where the road climbs up along the steep flanks of C. Campogrosso, after which you will reach the pastures of Alpe di Campogrosso and soon after the refuge (m. 1450).
